The SIGMA II-3 Multiplace Hyperbaric System is designed to accommodate three seated patients simultaneously. The SIGMA II-3 delivers exceptional performance for hospitals with moderate patient treatment requirements. The SIGMA II-3 bridges the gap between the clinical limitations of the monoplace system and the major investment required for larger multiplace chambers including operating cost savings and space requirements.

Flexibility
The SIGMA II-3 features a spacious 40-inch internal diameter acrylic treatment compartment that allows for increased patient accessibility and monitoring. The ability to treat three patients seated comfortably is an important SIGMA II-3 distinction. Pressurized with air instead of oxygen, the SIGMA II-3 utilizes a built-in breathing system (BIBS) that gives the operator the ability to independently adjust each patient’s oxygen supply.
Patient Comfort
The SIGMA II-3’s spacious interior increases patient treatment acceptance by reducing the likelihood of confinement anxiety. Patient comfort is also enhanced by the cushioned, reclining chairs. The acrylic compartment allows the patient excellent vision and the ability to enjoy entertainment (TV/Video system) during the treatment period.
Safety
The SIGMA II-3 is a Class A hyperbaric chamber as defined by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA). The standard fire suppression system is activated at the control console. Patients are supplied with breathing oxygen gases separate from the system environment. A standard oxygen monitor checks the concentration of oxygen within the compartment.
Patient Care
The SIGMA II-3 also allows for medical monitoring of critically ill patients. The optional medical lock is a convenient way to pass refreshments or medical supplies in and out of the system.
Cost-Effectiveness
The SIGMA II-3 reduces staffing requirements per patient while increasing the number of patients that can be treated simultaneously. The built-in breathing system (BIBS) provides optimal oxygen consumption per patient.
The following requirements must be met for proper operation of the SIGMA II-3 Multiplace Hyperbaric System.
